Getting started
Do I need a website designer or any technical skills?
No. If you can send a WhatsApp message and take a photo, you can open a Kvention store. Everything happens on your phone, in plain English or Urdu.
How long does it take to open a store?
About ten minutes: name your store, say what you sell, pick a look, then set payments, delivery and returns. Add products with your camera, open your store and share your link. You can add more products whenever you like.
I sell on Instagram and WhatsApp. Why do I need a store?
Customers can see every product, size and price without messaging you, order at 2am, and you get every order in one place with stock that updates itself. Share your store link in your bio and chats.
Payments and orders
How do my customers pay?
Cash on delivery is on from the start. You can also show your bank details for transfers, or connect your own PayFast account for cards, JazzCash and Easypaisa. The money goes straight to you.
Does Kvention take a cut of my sales?
No. Orders on your own store are yours, on every plan. Marketplaces show their commission clearly before you join.
Can delivery cost more for far-away cities?
Yes. Charge one price everywhere, or by region: your city, the rest of your province, the rest of Pakistan and far areas (Balochistan, Azad Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan). Checkout works it out from the city the customer picks. You can also set a price for one city, or free delivery above an amount.
Can I ask for part of the price before I send an order?
Yes, product by product. For cash on delivery, the customer pays that share first by bank transfer or PayFast, and the rest to the rider. You tap "Advance received" when a bank transfer arrives; PayFast payments are marked by themselves.
Which couriers can I use?
Any. Add the courier (TCS, Leopards, M&P, PostEx, your own rider…) and tracking number when you send an order; your customer can follow it.
What if two people buy the last piece at once?
Only one gets it. Stock is checked and held when the order is placed, on your store and on every marketplace.
Your store
Can my store be in Urdu?
Yes. Your store, checkout and admin all work in Urdu, right to left. You can switch any time.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. Start with a free Kvention link, then connect your own .pk or .com domain on the Basic plan. We show you the exact steps for your registrar and set up SSL for you.
Can I change my theme later?
Any time. Your products, photos, collections and homepage sections come with you, and you can preview a theme with your own products first.
Can my staff help run the store?
Yes. Add managers and packers; each sees only what their role needs.
Plans and billing
Is there a free trial?
Every new store gets 14 days with everything in Basic. No card needed.
What happens when my trial ends?
Choose a plan, or your store simply moves to Free. Nothing is deleted.
How do I pay for a plan?
By card through PayFast or by bank transfer, for 1, 3, 6 or 12 months. A year costs 15% less.
